A year of sport events
We greet the fascinating return of the Mille Miglia old-style convoy.
The legendary car race will be in Cervia and Milano Marittima on
June and bringing, as in previous editions, a captivating mix of sport, elegance, old-time charm, celebrities, and splendid cars. Yet there is plenty for even the most athletic, who can pit themselves against other competitors in the Ironman and the Granfondo Sale challenges, just to mention two of the most-awaited sports events of the year, or experience the thrill of sprinting along the hairpin bends of the Apennines, where “il Pirata”, Marco Pantani, once trained before major events.
The strong men meet in Cervia for a great sporting event
whose significance runs deeper than even this spectacular competition may suggest.
Because Ironman Italy, back in Romagna on September, is a combination of supreme effort and great sport, but also of strong
emotions and enormous enthusiasm.
The caravan of Ironman will set up its headquarters in Cervia with a sports village that, again this year, also acts as a meeting place for athletes and spectators.
