Farmhouses
These buildings are usually located on the fringes of the old Roman road in the Cesena area. They were built after the original "domus rustica" model, which was surrounded by an atrium. They have a similar protruding porch, usually facing south.
The farmhouses built after the Ravenna model have different features. They are characterised by a triple-vaulted porch placed in the facade and used to separate the living areas from the stable and the warehouse where products are preserved and transformed.
