Gino Pilandri (died 2003)
Among some of the personages who distinguish themselves in Cervia, we would like to remember GINO PILANDRI, who in fact was acknowledged as "Cervese Emerito" (distinguished person) in the year 2001.
He was given this important award for his superlative and worthy image as a citizen, researcher, writer, for his expertise in history, art and the finest local and regional traditions, and for his active contributions to his community.
We remind you of the positions he held; that of the Town Mayor, then as Councillor of the Province, later as President (founder in 1955) of the Association "Amici dell'Arte" (Friends of Art) and finally as a teacher in the University for adults in Cervia.
