Vincenzo Soldati - artist, poet
A nice person who defines himself as, "a full time pensioner", "creator of art" and "poet".
He was born in Bologna and is well known in Cervia for his special exhibitions.
His art consists of finding and working with waste material which includes stones from the river which with a few touches from Soldati become small animals, varied objects and strange monsters.
In all, there are 300 figures which have already been surprising tourists in Cervia for some years and which adorned the flower beds in Viale Roma last year.
The display is called "Noah's Arc" and represents the different animal species which were saved by Noah.
