Cervia Storica

Cervia Storica

From the sea to the salt-pan of Cervia passing by the most important historical sites of the city and its surroundings

Cyclists in the middle of nature

Discovering the most important historical sites in the Cervese surroundings: from the churches in the forese, to the deco villas of Milano Marittima, to the symbolic places of the traditions of Romagna.
Starting from the city centre, with Piazza Garibaldi and the splendid complex of the Magazzini del Sale (Salt Warehouses), you start a journey towards the Garden City with Villa Palanti, the Colonia Varese and the Casa delle Aie, guardian of the culinary traditions of Romagna. We leave the city to discover the Villa Ragazzena and the nearby Bosco del Duca d'Altemps, a valuable nature reserve. The route continues with a visit to two religious buildings: the Pieve di Santo Stefano and the Santuario della Madonna del Pino. On the way back you can admire the thermal spa of Cervia.
