From Cervia to Sant'Apolinare in Classe Cathedral in Ravenna by bike
A tour to discover history and nature
A bike route in the shade of the pine forest of Cervia and Milano Marittima, in the southern part of the Po Delta Park.
A stop in the valleys of Ortazzo and Ortazzino and in two lakes, one of salt water and the other of fresh water. There you can do birdwatching and admire the wildlife: swans, herons, coots, ducks and flamingos.
Then the tour goes on through the pine forest of Classe and reach the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare, which is in the list of UNESCO heritage sites since 1996. Here it is impossible not to be amazed by the wonderful Byzantine mosaics and the Roman-early Christian architecture of the Basilica.
