Multi-sensory guided tour through Musa, the salt museum, with stories and suggestions.
MUSA offers an intriguing journey through the 5 senses into the museum, the history of the city and the salt civilisation.
An hour of stimulating the senses to immerse oneself in the fascinating world of salt. The guided tour starts from the bridge area where the video projection takes us back in time and makes us travel through the centuries among the most important temporal stages in the history of Cervia and its salt pans.
Then, in the archaeological section, the guide recounts the history of Cervia through some anecdotes related to objects and artefacts preserved here. Finally, we move to the central hall, where the ancient tools for collecting the precious white gold are preserved. Here, the five senses are alerted: visitors can touch water samples at different levels of salinity, smell the silt, observe salt crystals through a stereoscope, and listen to a folk poem in Romagna dialect.
