The Coastal Rowing, originated in France in the late 1980s from the idea of ocean navigator Gerard D'Aboville. From sailing-inspired hulls, the ‘Yole de mer’ are built with one, two and four rowers with helmsman.

The Coastal Rowing course is organised by La Canottieri Ravenna at the Sailing Center of Cervia; a four-person boat with instructor is available.
