A week as sweet as honey
Street markets, performances and tasting sessions will be dedicated to the sweetest among the local products. There will also be workshops focusing on the use of honey while cooking, readings and workshops for children.

Friday 16th August
Cervia, Piazzetta Pisacane
- 9.00 p.m., Evening dedicated to children with the presentation of the illustrated book 'Ape amica mia', with children's workshop (organised by the Bubusettete bookshop) and honey tasting.
Saturday 17th August
Cervia, Piazzale Ascione
- 6 p.m., Market of honeys, herbs and natural products
- 9 pm, Show for children, Mister Bee e il segreto dell'impollinazione
- 10 p.m., Auction of honey from the Butterfly House. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Cerviaman
- Followed by a demonstration of honey extraction, an ancient ritual of extracting honey from honeycombs
Monday 19th August
Cervia, Casa delle Aie
- 4.45 p.m., guided tours of the Casa delle Aie (farmyard house) and the Botanical Garden of Forgotten Fruits; talk with guided honey tasting by beekeeper Cesare Brusi
Friday 23rd August
Cervia, Piazzetta Pisacane
- 9.30 p.m., Evening dedicated to children with a children's workshop organised by the Bubusettete bookshop
- 10.30 p.m., How to recognise honey, organised by beekeeper Cesare Brusi
Saturday 24th August
Cervia, Piazzale Ascione
- from 6 p.m., Market of honeys, herbs and natural products and exhibition of sea tents organised by the Antica Stamperia Pascucci di Gambettola
- 9.30 p.m., The honey extraction
- 10.30 p.m., The Honey Gastronomy by the chefs of the Pellegrino Artusi Association of Ravenna and Cervia.
Wednesday 28th August
Tagliata, Piazza Gemelli
- 6 p.m., The honey extraction with honey tasting and show cooking
