Cervia joins the European Music Festival, which reaches its 30th edition this year.
Since 1982, when the first edition was held in France, the European Music Festival has been held every year on the day of the summer solstice, 21 June, in numerous European countries.
In Italy too, the event is organised by numerous organisations under the direction of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities.
Cervia enthusiastically participates in the initiative because music can convey that message of culture, participation, integration and universality in all its languages.

Rossini School of Music in concert
Friday 21st June
Cervia, Pisacane Square
On the occasion of the 2024 edition of the Music Festival, the students of the Municipal School "Gioacchino Rossini" perform two free concerts.
5.30 p.m.
Students from the piano, classical guitar and cello courses perform masterpieces by Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin.
9.15 p.m.
Concert by the students of the ensemble music, solfeggio and pop singing courses for an explosion of rhythm and energy, in a musical journey through pop, rock and traditional music.

Cervia, Salinari Square

The three-day Festival of Visual Arts returns to Cervia, in the setting of the Piazzale dei Salinari on the Canal Harbour.
More than 50 artists perform to paint, sculpt, create mosaics and ceramics "live", before the amazed eyes of the spectators.
A Festival of the Arts dedicated to the European Music Festival
Each evening a concert accompanies the event, starting at 9 p.m.
It starts on Friday 21st June with a concert by the Deep Roots Blues Band, a four-piece electric blues band from Romagna with soul and country blues influences, and continues on 22nd June with the Adriatic Dixieland Jazz Band, a band that retraces the traces of Dixieland jazz origins. Sunday 23rd June the Etilisti Noti, a folk singer-songwriter group from Forlì.

9.30 p.m.
Concert by the Town Band Città d'Iseo in collaboration with the Ravenna and Cervia music bands.
Guest Mauro Ferrara, the voice of Romagna.
The evening is dedicated to the flood in Romagna 2023 and is part of the calendar of events of the Festival della Romagna, taking place from 15 to 22 June.
