Information according to the European Privacy Regulation and treatment of technical cookies for access and use of the City of Cervia's institutional tourist website www.turismo.comunecervia.it

GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation and is a European regulation that aims to increase people's rights regarding the collection and use of personal data.

According to Art. 13 of the European Regulation no. 679/2016, the Municipality of Cervia, as Data Controller, is required to provide information on the use of data.

Preface

The www. turismo.comunecervia.it site combines institutional information content published by the Municipality of Cervia with promotional and commercial content published by Cervia Turismo srl, the mixed capital company, with a majority public share, which manages the tourist information service on behalf of the Local Administration at the IAT/UITs located in the Municipality of Cervia.

In particular, Cervia Turismo srl is responsible for the content published in the Holiday Packages section.
It also integrates the experiences (guided tours and excursions), adding to the descriptive information, already present on the page, the Call To Action that links to the shopping cart for booking. Managed by Cervia Turismo srl through a dedicated platform.

The site facilitates navigation paths where the guest can:

  • gather information on the territory (art and culture, environment and nature, itineraries and excursions in Cervia and in Romagna)
  • have an overview of opportunities for recreation, sport, wellness, entertainment and leisure on the beach and in the area
  • check all appointments for events and exhibitions throughout the year
  • search among all hotel and extra-hotel accommodations
  • choose between different offers and tourist packages (content created by Cervia Turismo srl) and fill in a form to transmit their data to the operators of Cervia Turismo srl for free customised estimates
  • carry out a search, by period, room type and facility, aimed at booking their stay online. In this case the search is initiated by the user on the website www.turismo.comunecervia.it but any further search and transaction will take place on the specific platform dedicated to booking http://booking.cerviaturismo.it (platform managed separately by Cervia Turismo srl)
  • subscribe to a newsletter service with informative and promotional content on the territory of the Municipality of Cervia that may also host commercial content edited by Cervia Turismo srl

1) Purpose of data processing

The collection and other processing of Data is carried out by the Company for the following purposes:

a) marketing and advertising;
b) sending information and promotional material
c) sending of commercial communications
d) statistical analysis for marketing purposes
e) detection of the degree of satisfaction with the products and/or services offered by the Company
f) sending invitations for informative and promotional events
g) compliance with legal obligations.

2) Modalities of data processing

The Data will be collected and processed by the Company for the purposes listed in point 1) above, either manually or with the aid of electronic or automated devices, and include - in compliance with the limits and conditions laid down by Article 11 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 - all the operations, or set of operations, envisaged by the same decree under the term "processing".
The Data are kept and controlled by the Company in compliance with the confidentiality and security measures provided for by the same decree in Articles 31 et seq.
The Data may be processed - on behalf of the Company - by employees, collaborators, professionals and/or companies, appointed to carry out specific processing services or activities complementary to those of the Company, or necessary for the performance of the Company's operations and services.

3) Types of data processed

Navigation data

The technological systems used to manage this website read, in the course of their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information are data that are not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects, but which by their very nature could, through complex processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning. The data may be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes to the detriment of the site and may be shown to the Judicial Authorities, should the latter explicitly request it.

Information sent voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the personal data entered.

According to Art. 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, we remind you that you have the right to obtain:

a) confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the Data and their communication in intelligible form;
b) information on the Data
c) updating, rectification or - if interested - integration of the Data;

d) the removal, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of Data processed in breach of the law, including Data whose storage is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the Data were collected or subsequently processed
e) certification to the effect that the operations as per letters c) and d) above have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the Data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.

You also have the right, pursuant to Article 7 of the aforementioned decree, to object, in whole or in part:

a) for legitimate reasons, to the processing of Data, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection
b) the processing of the Data for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.

In order to exercise the above-mentioned rights, you may send a request, by registered letter or e-mail, to Municipality of Cervia, Piazza Garibaldi, 1, E-mail 

The rights under (a) and (b) may also be exercised by means of a verbal request.
